Special characteristics of the wine:

Elaboration Baigorri White Fermented Barrel

Made with grapes of the Viura (90%) and Malvasía (10%) varieties from old vines exclusively located in Rioja Alavesa. After a manual and selective harvest, the stemmed grape has been selected by hand, grain by grain, using selection tables by vibration and weight. The must macerates a few hours with its skins to subsequently pass to a pneumatic press.

What type of wine is Baigorri Blanco Fermentado Barrica

A different white wine aged for 8 months in contact with the lees in new French oak barrels with a specifically light toast.

The Baigorri winery

Located in the town of Samaniego and under the Sierra de Cantabria is Bodegas BAIGORRI.
A glass box perfectly integrated into its environment, which emerges in an emblematic place in the Rioja Alavesa.
There is no reception hopper and no pumps are used to transfer the grapes or to remount the deposits that could damage it, from the selection tables to bottling along the different underground plants of the winery, thus optimizing all the phases of the process.
