Production of Tequila Cuervo Especial Reposado
The base for its production is Tequila José Cuervo Tradicional, which is also the base for the Tequila José Cuervo Platino edition. This tequila is 100% pure agave, aged in oak barrels for 6 months.
It is aged for at least a few weeks or months in oak barrels and generally has a light golden color. Reposado tequilas can be made from pure or mixed agave, but the vast majority are made from pure agave.
