The winery Bodega Classica
Located in the town of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, on the banks of the Ebro River, the winery boasts vineyards over 100 years old.
Its location is ideal for producing fine wines, as the proximity of the Ebro River provides moisture to the soil, and the Toloño mountain range protects it from the cold winds of the Cantabrian Sea.
Its location is exceptional for viticulture, with a rainy climate in winter and breezy conditions in spring and summer. This creates an ideal microclimate for growing grapes.
The vines are trained in the bush vine system, in soils that are typically poor, which limits grape production but significantly enhances quality.
The harvest takes place in October and is done entirely by hand. Finally, it's worth mentioning that the winery offers a Wine Tourism section where you can take tours with two types of tastings: a basic tasting and a Rioja tasting, each consisting of three tastings.
They can also organize customized events.
