Hasiera Wine Designation of Origin

It belongs to the Rioja DO, a designation that dates back to the late 19th century, but was not officially established until 1925. The area covered by this designation of origin encompasses the autonomous communities of La Rioja and the Basque Country.

The grapes produced in this designation are: Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo, Graciano, and Maturana Tinta.
The wines of this designation are characterized by being fresh, aromatic, with an excellent bouquet, and above all, they are very well-balanced. Rioja wines are easy to drink.

Grape Varieties Used in Hasiera

Varieties: 100% Tempranillo.

The vineyards are located at an average altitude of 650 meters above sea level, where climatic conditions are highly variable.

The harvest is always done by hand in small crates and boxes. The grapes are transported quickly to the winery, and open-sided vats and concrete tanks are used for vinification.
