Ilurce Rosé Winemaking

To make our Ilurce Rosé, after strict ripening control, the grapes were selected and harvested by hand. They were destemmed and carefully crushed so that, during their cold maceration for about 48 hours, they would contribute their best qualities to the must, providing the perfect color and the finest aromas.

This free-run juice was statically clarified and fermented with native yeasts at low temperatures (15ºC).

Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce is a winery established in 1940 within the Rioja DOCa. It is located in the eastern part of La Rioja, in Alfaro, the heart of La Rioja Oriental.

Designation of Origin of Ilurce Rosado

It belongs to the Rioja DO, a designation that dates back to the late 19th century, but was not officially established until 1925. The area covered by this designation of origin encompasses the autonomous communities of La Rioja and the Basque Country.

The grapes produced in this designation are: Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo, Graciano, and Maturana Tinta.
The wines of this designation are characterized by being fresh, aromatic, with an excellent bouquet, and above all, they are very well-balanced.
