Elaboration Lan 7 metros

Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with very little mechanical extraction, so that the color and aromas are extracted naturally throughout the fermentation and, in this way, only ripe and silky tannins are obtained.
Malolactic fermentation was carried out very slowly, which achieved a very good stabilization of color and aromas.

What kind of wine is Lan 7 metros

Aged for 16 months in 30 selected barrels, with two intermediate rackings at 4 and 11 months of ageing. Refined in the bottle for 14 months.

Lan cellar

It was founded in 1972 in La Rioja, with the initials of the three provinces where the Rioja Denomination of Origin extends: Logroño (today La Rioja), Álava and Navarra. Since then, they have based the production of their wines on Tempranillo and Viura, the typical Rioja grape varieties. Its wines come from 72 hectares of vines up to 60 years old, among which the 5-hectare “Viña Lanciano” estate deserves a special mention, whose location, surrounded by the Ebro River, and its climate, provide a grape of extraordinary quality. Bodegas Lan has a wide range of wines, which it markets under the LAN, Culmen and Viña Lanciano brands, and the now defunct Lambros.

It belongs to the DO Rioja, a denomination that dates back to the end of the 19th century, but which was not officially formed until 1925. The area that houses this denomination of origin encompasses the autonomous communities of Rioja and the Basque Country. The grapes produced in this denomination are: Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, Graciano and Maturana. The wines of this denomination are characterized by being fresh, aromatic wines, with an excellent vessel and, above all, they are very balanced wines.
