Grape varieties used in Veraton wine
Made with grapes: 100% garnacha
On the palate they are unctuous and full-bodied, with nice and ripe tannins, and a great aromatic persistence.
The soils where these old Garnacha vines are located, are glacis, or soils of the foothills of the Ainzón, Fuendejalón and Tabuenca mountains, very stony, with little pebbles, limestone or marl, dolomites, quartzites and slate. They are very permeable soils, which cause runoff to seep into the deeper clay layers.
