The grenache or grenache (pronounced gren-aash) is a Spanish vine variety (Vitis vinifera). It is a late variety, very vigorous and productive. It adapts well to sandy soils or with stones and to slightly acidic ones.

It is probably the grape with the greatest production extension in Spain.
