It all started in the 1870s, when French vineyards were dying from the phylloxera attack. At that time the Lacort family did not know it, but this disease of the French vineyard would change their lives a few years later.
Respect for our origins without renouncing the innovation that characterized Mariano j Lacort in its beginnings. This is how we make our wines today, love for a land, respect for its history.
The wines of Bodegas Lacort represent modern viticulture and the Atlantic character of the terroir in La Rioja Alta. Today, we maintain and respect the style that our founder, Mariano J Lacort, started at the beginning of the 20th century.
