The Muscat grape is one of the oldest grapes that they make. Its orography is found in the Aegean, and the Greeks spread it throughout the Mediterranean.
Alsace is the only French appellation where Muscat wines are vinified in a dry style. They are made using two varieties of this grape, the Alsatian Muscat and the Muscat Ottonel.
